My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.
– Proverbs 4:20-22
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. – Psalm 19:14
I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. – Psalm 119:15
Oh, how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. – Psalm 119:97
Steadfastness, with all the distractions of what is deemed normal life today, can be more than a little challenging at times. Keep coming back! Return to center. Return to the fellowship. Return to the principles. Let me keep God as the centerpiece of life in all that I do. For anything done for God is done in the name of love, and anything done lovingly is sure to prosper. Every step is critical in the severity of God. So, let me be fastened to God! Awake and aware of each step I am taking to be sure-footed in my endeavors. We have a strong root that runs deep in faith. Let me hold on with that same strength of tendrils that run deep and, in turn, be held so strongly by it. Bless. – Shawn Greathouse
